What would the approximate value be of a 3-key domain -- letter, number, letter dot com?

Thanks

totally disagree.....without knowing what the domain is there is no way to tell, I sold A1W.com and 1IM.com in an ebay auction with a few other ok regular names (not short ones) that went to $2,475, if your domain DOES start with "A1" like you put in the subject line then it is in fact worth AT LEAST a few hundred dollars but probably low $x,xxx if it has a good letter after it, since only 26 possible "a1" .com 3 char domains exist (there being only 26 letters in the alphabet to come after A1 and A1 being used by SO MANY companies and being a HUGE well known acronym of quality) Also, domains with the #1 in the front or back are quite valuable depending on the letter and whether or not they can mean anything signifigant since a company always likes to represent themselves as #1 and its easy to market like "goto #1 Web Loans.com at 1WL.com today!"....and for example the domain zq1.com would be worth $25 since you cant really make it mean anything but the domain HL1.com would be easily worth mid $xxx maybe more because of the letters and a meaning of for instance "Home Loans #1" or "Home Lender #1"...also, since GOOD 3 letter .coms are now selling for near $100k recently evidenced by several large sales like OLT.com for like 90k or something like that, GOOD 3 letter acronym domains will only go up in value and are easily worth a few hundred dollars right now to end users since they are extinct and just three keystrokes away and a .com from any companies website, I have a few myself like WA1.com,4TA.com,4VS.com,4WF.com and some others...the "4" in the front is good as well because it is like "for".... l"4WF" can easily mean "For Web Finance" etc. Why don't you post the domain and let us appraise it for real? Note the location of the keys on the keyboard too, for instance the domain "wa1" which I have is three quick keystrokes in a clockwise circle right next to each other on the keypad, this mean fewer mistakes typing it in and makes it easier for customers to recall later, does your domain have any of these characteristics I have described? If so, then consider it worth more than just mid $xx....I may want to buy it, please PM me the domain name. :)

Chris

Also if it is "A1C.com" I would buy it from you for a few hundred dollars right now, it easily being "A1 Cars" or many other very good possible acronyms....and having the "A1" in the front..

A1C.com (and the VAST majority of these type of names) are worthless to resellers. There are so many of them out there and very few of them actually mean anything.

1WL.com? Who is going to remember that having anything to do with loans? Looks to me like 1 wooley llama or something similar.

I'm glad Mocus will pay so much for these names, because I doubt any experienced members on this forum will. Most of them are worth reg fee or less, especially when the number is in between the 2 letters.

Thanks for your input GT, I'm sorry to inform you but you are very mistaken....it's expected though since you are not a reseller

and how can there be so many of "them" out there when there are a very limited number of combinations with the number 1 at the front or end...esp. "a1" in the front (26 possible on the internet) granted a domain with the form L,#,L is not normally the best, but in the case of a .com domain with the worldwide acronym "a1" in the front this makes it VERY desireable, and alot of these domains will be worth alot more in the coming years but don't take my word for it, you know everything at 17 I forgot! Just keep doing what you are doing...more for me! :)

6760 of these domains out there...and probably 10 of them mean something special...seems pretty useless to me

pam, maybe 2x reg fee for a reseller at best.. end user might go for maybe 100 bucks tops... i just can't see whats so great about this made up names.. a1c, or 1ca, or ac1..... it's all the same to me.

B2B.com
A2Z.com = very good, high value

Maybe a couple of others with high values but the bulk are junk.

Agreed, some are tremendously valuable such as B2B.com and A2Z.com. At the same time the majority are pretty worthless. There is no magic formula for LNL.com domains. It all boils down to the actual domain name that you possess.
