What the heck is goin on at overture?

Does anyone know whats up with the overture search suggestion tool?!

What i mean is something looks buggy there:

1.) a keyterm that had like more than 1.000.000 searches couple months ago("logo design") now has only 53.123 searches - i know numbers can vary from month to month but thats a bit too significant?!

2.)look up the term "cd burner" (with space in it)- overture gives 2 diff. figures for the same term:
107046 searches on the top, then 4th from top it shows the same term again with only 6992 searches.

Damn - if they turn out to not be reliable anymore thats bad.

Whats goin on there or have they changed something i just missed?

How do you calculate the equivalents (relevance) againts overture stats. For example, most people know the value of a name name based on the overture searches. How would you calculate wordtracker search stats. Thanks.

Posted it a few weeks/months back. Run a search for "MatchDriver" and you can probably figure out why there is such a huge distortion. In brief, overture has made it "easier" for people to search, if you search for "hosting web", they may automatically switch it over to show "web hosting" - and add a count when that happens.
