I just purchased a good domain that was registered in 1998 and had a website on it until 2 years ago -- since then it was parked at sedo. The domain and many of the url's in the site are PR 5 or PR 4. The site also receives thousands of visitors a month. I should also add that it has several 100 incoming links.

I am looking for some guidance on what to do with the domain name so that I don't kill the PR and traffic.

Any help would be greatly appericated.

Use archive.org to see what the site was used for and draft out a quick minisite with a similar content (pay attention to the Meta tags) while waiting for the full development.

Thanks Johnn!

Is there a way that I can download a whole dump of the site from archive.org?

Why do the URL's maintain PR even though they have not had a site on them since 2005/2006??

Google overslept and you need to act fast before the monster wakes up.
