I have several transactions with Afternic and never had any problems with them answering my emails.

I always have problems with waiting for them to answer emails.
Very poor customer service.

Yes, their reply cycle is peculiar but not that bad. I usually just call them up. I understand though, that calling the US from Australia would cost you a small jar of vegemite each time :D

I just moved back to the US a couple of minutes ago but I guess the office closed?

I guess they don't need money since this is a $xx,xxx transaction.

LOL John, what have you been drinking today? :)

Yeah, offices close at 5pm - sometimes Monica answers calls as late as 5:30pm Eastern.

I've learned that Sedo functions like this because they are based in the corporate US, using British personnel with German holidays and French working hours :D

Start with XO since 6:00AM and still drinking.
That's why I don't want to call them because they may think I am drunk!

How many days have past since last email or phone call.

If I have to, I will call weekdays between 8:30 and 9:00 CST. Someone has always answered during this time of the day.

I only do emails when it's a reply to "push" or "transfer" a name.

I have been negotiating back and forth with the buyer for the past 2 days and we are getting closed to my expected price.
I put some comments in the last transaction and did not hear back from the buyer so I was afraid that it may take them days to screen the comment before deliver my counter offer.
If it take too long for Sedo to deliver then the buyer may think I ignore the offer and he/she may get cold feet.

I will call them first thing tomorrow (before drinking)
