What's the most important thing you have learned domaining?

right.

for point 2, experience let's you help sell at unexpected prices. you never know who is on the other side. nothing wrong to pitch . always consider the offer is coming from an end user (probably a corporate) and deal accordingly. domains in resale are mostly taken either by domainers or end-users.
if you consider a domain worth enough, never hesitate to pitch , mostly counter offer comes . that is the stage to understand the worthness of sale.

learn, learn and learn... there is no end to it. only you cannot make all the mistakes. so the mistakes you have not done , learning & asking queries will educate you not to make them, and if you make them, it will be easier to come out of that mistake and 1 more learning will be added to your experience ( but dont repeat them) ;)

Thanks for the wonderful thread, some great points i noted down please share few more thoughts so i can know more and more

Regards
Hars

know when to purchase a good domain at once if you got the cash for it. even a fair counter offer by you may drive seller away.
be willing to drop a domain or sell for less than you paid is important if it's one that has not worked for you.
