Of course we have our own servers. And roughly a 1000 other sites I run as well. Our redirect service has been under a major dos attack all day and their servers are down. I am currently looking for another redirect service that has servers geograpghically dispersed so this doesn't happen again.

We already have. I emailed all our clients over the weekend.
This is our new policy.
We will accept names that have expired. Or are in the delete cyle.
BUT THEY MUST BE PAST THE EXPIRY DATE.
This means you can input other registrars that don't go into a delete cycle.
It also means you can input NSI names early as it seems they are dumping more in the early deletions than the regular drops
Just choose the next day for the run date. I no longer pay attention to your dates as we check it all ourselves, The site will be amended shortly to reflect this change.
You don't have to do anything else. We will monitor and slot them in the drops when its appropriate.
