Whats up with SEDO???

Hi all, just wondering your thoughts on SEDO. I had always used afternic until everyone began talking about Sedo and how great it is but in 3 months of using thier PPC system, my payments have been SLASHED! I have earned in the past 3 months on Sedo what I made in afternic in a good week and now they wont even PAY ME!!!

They are claiming my payment details are wrong when they are not and now say I have to wait till a month from now to get my money until the next "batch" of checks is sent which is what they told me a month ago. (BTW- I once had an issue with afternic when there was a problem and they especially cut a check just for me so I would not have to wait a month.)

It would seem like Sedo is too big a company to rip people off as though word would get around too quickly but I have heard of Fabulous giving people these problems (although I never had a problem with them personally) so I am really beginning to wonder if they are a reputable company or not because it really seems "not", or at least "not very".

Plus, it seems like my offers on the domains have dropped dramatically from where I had them on afternic and the amount per offer is less too.

In a nutshell- is Sedo way overrated and time for a fall from grace? Seems like it from reading other threads about them and from my own experience but wondering what everyone else thought. I am already past the point of ever trusting them again with PPC and have begun redirecting my domains away from them as they have blown it with me for sure there forever but wondering if my experience was unique. Unfortunately, it seems not and that if they are not outright "shady" - are certainly unreliable and overrated.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but I have had a big drop off in offers and revenue since going to Sedo.

I agree with you... SEDO has taken a nose dive.

Vote of no Confidence perhaps.. talking to other programs and registrars recently.. they are all of the opinion that sedo are arrogant and over bearing.

I have not witnessed it personally, but there must be something in it..

Perhaps they need a little shakeup

Sorry, but I have seenrecent improvement. Never have had a payment problem either. as far as Afternic, you are basically using DS and Fab, which are both quite well, so, it really depends upon the domain.
