Hello,
can anyone tell me when domain drop ?

For example i downloaded the 22nd october 2005 list from Enom Clubdrop area , and right now all domains which I am checking are still registered from that list even the worst one ! I have checked around 500 domains for eg:

Its 23rd october today and the 22nd october domain still arent available?

Can any guide me and tell me why is this happening?

Well , the list in the enom club drop is the date when those domain will drop from the registry and become available , the domains which i posted in above example are all crap domains from that list which i am more than sure that no one would have backordered but they still arent available ......

infact no domain from that list is available yet.

I believe most registrar's hold domains between 15 - 45 days. Then they go into pending delete which could take another 5-7 days. Don't quote me on the figures.

You are correct. All of them have been re-registered except for a couple that might
have been re-released by the data mining registrars.

All domains that drop are immediately registered by the 3 to 5 data mining registrars.
Naturally, I'm referring to the ones not caught by Pool, Enom, Godaddy and Snapnames.

If it has any type of traffic, they keep them. Otherwise, it is released after 5 days.
Ironically, the other data mining registrars immediately pick up the ones that the others release.

Of all of the data mining registrars, there is one that psychologically bothers me which
I'm not sure why.

It is owned by Snapnames. (They use the dns name dns1.oregonnames.com )
