What website (preferably not to expensive) do you recommend to by .in and .co.in domain names? Can anyone buy a .in or .co.in domain name or do you have to live in India?

Repeat after me: M O N I K E R

And they subcontract a whole lot of others too using the same company. While it's true, the prices are competetive and if you're like me and want most of your names at one secure registrar, that's the way to go.

The request-to-registration lag time for an .in at Moniker averages two to three hours. So, do not use Moniker for .in if you see an available .in domain and want it quick. During that few hour period, the domain is not yet yours and can still be registered by others at a real time .in registrar (like mitsu.in or a resellerclub reseller). Moniker will refund your money of course if it is unable to acquire the name for you, but in the end, it simply means that Moniker as registrar is inappropriate for the acquisition of .in drops. I use Moniker for most of my domains, but not for .in.

Who do you use for your .in domains then?
