Tried to go to my account. Looks like they've been hijacked!?!

And "who is" Matthew Stearn out of Redmond, WA?

I beleive snaps.com is owned by someone who ran out of money and couldn't afford to renew the name.

Once pool gets the name when it drops I will be the high bidder and will put the site back up.

However you ran across the name, it is the name of eNom's president.

One of the reasons I submitted a transfer of all my Enom names to transfer to GKG.net a month ago. Enom is too eager to make pay per click revenue off my names. Now I'm not too happy with GKG.net. They're leaving me in the dark on troubles with transfers. I'm searching for another registrar.

Snaps.com will be back up tomorrow.

That was way off base.

Good to hear!

i noticed with most registrars, they will put up a pp if you don't have the dns pointing to another url.

is this the case?

It's been 3 days and I still can't get in. The page does not even resolve for me. What's up?

It works fine for me since yesterday.

Did Matt get a promotion from VP? Couldn't have been from the wonderful customer relations, or saying 1 thing and doing another. Not too thrilled with that guy, could you guess?

I have deleted all cookies, stored web pages, and rebooted and refreshed, searched through Google and Yahoo, said a few !@#$ words and still can't get the page to resolve. Any hints on what could be causing this?

hhhmmm, are you using a proxy?

They replaced my name servers with their name servers. They can't be so desparate for PPC $ that they can't wait a week before they start it. I'd much rather have seen page not found.

It started working the same day.

Try just the IP and see what happens. http://65.17.199.243

Think.. you probably have a slow DNS.... call your ISP & tell them to clear their DNS cache.

Until then the IP should work.

Ya,
I'm on dial up through MSN for awhile. Planning to move so waiting to get real service. Thanks for the suggestions though.
