I would simply love the freedom and finances to try out many locations.

In the US and abroad.

I fell in love with Italy over 30 years ago. Austria and southern Germany are heavenly. Guam was breathtakingly beautiful and the people were so awesome. I did not get to know Southeast Asia well enough. Even Greenland had its pluses. The Canadian Maritimes are super awesome as well as the coast of Maine. I am in love with Manteo and Roanoke Island.

Where would I live?

Can I try out all those places I want to visit and have not been to and then decide?

I have a couple of acquaintances in Sardinia.

A couple of years ago I took care of a pleasant lady from Italy. Her and her husband own a summer home in Sardinia. They invited me to Sardinia.

I guess if I am going to go I need to make it soon. The Jet Set and celebrities are starting to hit Sardinia which is driving the cost of every thing up. When paparazzi take pictures of celebs frolicking on the beach, suddenly everyone wants to go.
