But ... is Snapnames still works fine? I've been heard that they cannot grab good names anymore.

Depends on what you mean fine or good. For me it's around 40-50% successful, and I am satisfied
. Cause I can't find other ways to get good domains for $69. But to get a snap on good names sometimes you need to buy it before expiry and have patience.- Joined

Like everyone else. I got the most quantity thru NW. And, "better" quality names thru Snaps.
But, in the past couple weeks, I have had the Snap and highest bidder on NW. And, still did not get the name.
However, I know that I am on the correct path since the big three continue to beat me to the names.
