Can someone explain what this whois information means? Is this domain name reserved or something?

IANA Whois Service
Domain: ****.com
Name: IANA_RESERVED

Registrant:
Name: Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA)
Organization: Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA)
Address1: 4676 Admiralty Way, Suite 330

looks like its on registry hold, maybe its in udrp which would put it on hold until resolved I believe.

So will this domain be dropping? Just curious because it is a premium one-worder...

in this case registrar hold probably means its in a legal tanglement

Interesting, thanks...

My guess is, the name is reserved by IANA, ie. it cannot be registered. For example all 1-letter .com/.net are reserved (except the few that were registered before that rule)
