What are "white label" sites and what would be the opposite of a white label site?

I saw the term used in the Affiliates section and googling doesnt really tell me anything.

A white label site uses a website from a third party company who then apply your branding. They will usually rearrange things a bit, the way it looks, etc. Everything behind the scenes though is the same as all the other sites that use this website and apply their branding.

http://sungames.skilljam.com/splash/splash.asp?# is a the same as the old skilljam website. You can even see in the URL that its a sub site of skilljam.com. I hope thats made it clearer.

I guess the opposite would be to develope the whole site yourself

Cool, thanks! Thats really good to know.
