Curious to know...

I have seen a huge spike in the past two days on the IDN names parked.

Obviously not bots because bots don't do searches.

The biggest traffic is on the Chinese .com and net as well as Japanese.com. And decent traffic on the French words.

Two days ago, nothing but one hit over all. This morning, several hundred.

Traffic on all these are coming equally from the US, Europe, and Asia.

Curious to know if other IDN holders are seeing increase in traffic.

Hey Doc, looks like your IDNs got indexed by a major SE. That would explain the sudden traffic influx

Hey, Petro! Good to hear from you again.

I'll take the traffic. I'll also take the clicks.

Even symbols are getting hits. All is good.

As for the sudden influx in traffic coming from Asia, there is big news about SINA.com going .mobi. They are China based with 230 million subscribers world wide. Number 4 on Alexa rankings.

It may not make sense to some people, but with billions of cell phones in use it makes sense that perhaps this would account for some of the sudden increase.

Seeing a small spike across the board as well, but nothing out of the ordinary. IDN traffic has been posting double digit gains (%) every month since the release of IE7.
