Who is the cheapest .com Registrar after price rise?

Hi, our registrar has just increased our price from $6.69 to $7.25 and I feel this is too much of an increase.

We have over 9000 .com domain names with them.

Can anyone recommend a registrar that is cheaper than $7.25 for new domains, renewals and transfers after the 1st October price rise?

The price increase reflects the raise decided upon by the Registry; the cost is passed onto you. I doubt you can get any cheaper than what you have now; in fact, $6.69 for .com was very low.

yep that's basically as low as it gets...had 6.50 but that's over now as well.

I thought the ICAAN increase was only .20c?...
update: just searched google and it seems the price increase might have been as much as .42c by Verisign...anyone able to confirm that?

Verisign has really increased their rates, and will continue doing that, so your price, 7.25 is really good, as long as I think the new price is about 6.84.

Fabulous .com was $6.85 now > $7.30

That is fair. Others are increasing by a lot more than the registry increase.

For those interested I am with MyDomain.com ...keep in mind that i have over 9000 domains with them, so they may not offer this price to you.

So it seems I should be happy with the price they are giving me, thanks for your feedback!
