Whois E-mail address, which to use???

Which E-mail is better to use: one re-directed from a domain you own or one at your ISP?

In a different, Dtobias indicated:
…it's always best to use an email address in a domain you own, rather than relying on your ISP... …people who do have their own domain name, but still give out their email address as [email protected] or something... morons!

I wanted to make sure I understood all the benefits and detriments.

I would appreciate it if you would post your thoughts on the issue of which e-mail to use??????? TIA.

it's good to have more than one e-mail address.
You can use the IP of any domain that you own as e-mail and forward to a web-based e-mail, or to your ISP's provided e-mail.

ie: [email protected]>>>>>>>>[email protected]>>>>>>>>
