hi,
i recently bought a couple of domains from someone. checked whois in both domaintools and who.is .Paid and got domain transferred/pushed

now when i check who.is again , the current whois shown is mine but in the archive , it's either not present / very old whois (instead of the person from whom i bought) .
so any other free tools( i don't have domaintools acc.) to check if domain is OK or not ( some are pretty old domains ) .

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

cos i am planning to flip them soon and i got them a little cheap i think :) . so before i ask anyone to broker them , want to be clear that there's nothing wrong

if you checked whois before you bought them and were satisfied with the info... again why worry about something going wrong if you try to flip them?

maybe you just lucked-up on a good deal

or maybe the names are crap and the seller just unloaded his trash. :)

i don't think it's anything to loose sleep over

but if you still feel uneasy, enter the names in google and see what turns up

if they were stolen or something, then there may be some posts.

Thanks
