Selling a premium domain name is not the end of the investment cycle. It is the midpoint. What determines whether your portfolio grows or slowly bleeds out is what you do with the proceeds.

The disciplined strategy is simple: after every sale, buy at least two premium domain names back. But there is an important condition that must be stated clearly. If you invest €25,000 in a domain name, that domain must already have a realistic market value of around €50,000. You are not buying cheap domains. You are buying undervalued premium assets.

.. hmm.. not really a fan of posting excerpts that lead to Linkedin here.. doesn't help dnforum :)

.. @DNF Admin, let us think about a section where users can post pre-content with links to full articles on 3rd party platforms, like Linkedin. tx :)

Totally agree.

Unless it’s necessary as a reference source, or there are copyright / IP concerns, it’s usually better to post the full content here rather than just an excerpt that redirects elsewhere.

Personally, I do have a newsletter on LinkedIn as well (Brands Codex), but when I share something on DnForum, I normally excerpt it or rewrite it slightly to fit the forum style better.

That said, I’m not exactly a big-name influencer anyway, so even if I drop a link, it’s not like anyone is going to click through and read it.😆

Well said.

A sale is not the finish line, it’s the midpoint.

What matters is how you reinvest the proceeds, not just that you sold.

When I post content on forums (the same idea I use on LinkedIn, X, or Reddit), I usually rewrite it for each platform. Maybe it’s a habit from my SEO days.
