...maybe the first e-mail I get is from someone who, after writing a reply e-mail to, "Doesn't accept Private Messages"!

What kind of joke is this and can I get a refund?

Click on Settings (top right)
Click on General Settings
There are options on the right side which will let you turn on or off.
