Why would traffic quality score fluctuate wildly?

.....If you go back through the post here Donny has on several occasions told us that a - or no score means that you don't have enough traffic for Yahoo to grade you......

Based on my acct this does not seem to be accurate because I have been getting at least 200 uniques/day for many mos without a TQ score until recently as far as I know. Every time I looked there was no score info at all but recentlly a TQ chart appeared and since then its been nonsensical going from 4 to 10 and now 2 with basically no traffic change.

Accounts are terminated for long term low scores. If I look at somebody who has a 1, I can usually tell why they have a low score. I personally would rather not terminate an account if I don't have to, so in many cases if somebody has a low score they will get an email from me or their account manager telling them to fix the problem asap. Sometimes Yahoo comes in and tells us to terminate a large number of the low accounts.

Thank you.... One more question; If an account is terminated for a low TQ Score, would the clients funds be withheld? If its by a case by case basis, in what case would it be withheld?

Raider - Usually it depends on when it is. Do you know that we get paid 45 days after the month is over? So in most cases we are paying people 60 days before we get paid? Besides that if I will be getting paid for the traffic then the customer will be getting paid. If Yahoo or Ask contacts us then we won't be getting paid and neither will the customer. But to sum it all up, if we get paid the customer gets paid.

trader - Send me your username and I'll take a look.

Since, Parked uses "visitors" and "clicks". I assume you are referring to clicks when
you say 200 uniques.

I was all the time wondering how a quality score can be calculated with just about 100 or 200 clicks.
Every up and down is normal then or even when there is no score. Don`t think about it - there is nothing really to show.
I think with so little data it`s really hard to say anything like average. It`s more like wheater prediction.

Every time I looked there was no score info at all but recentlly a TQ chart appeared and since then its been nonsensical going from 4 to 10 and now 2 with basically no traffic change.
If you would have x.xxx clicks/day or more you would not have that up and downs, not in TQS and not in (over-all-)rpm /revenue.

Also I don`t agree with that last "parked what happen"-threads.

Parked is very stable this year. even more stable then the last month last year. Of course I can only speak for me.
And, the last days it also comes back that the estimates are lower then the final stats and not reverse. And my TQS is not the best.

I don`t think the TQ-Score has so much weight for revenue for the moment.

Was referring to reported visitors (which I assume are also uniques) but clicks are a good percentage.

Parked is very stable...like i have always said..they are the best if you have good traffic names and lots of clicks - Trust Mocus! :ok:

Trust Mocus! :ok:

Parked is generally at the mercy of Yahoo.
So, I try not to complain about Parked that involve things out of Donny's control.

However, if I told Focus "trust me", he would say he would want some of whatever I'm smoking.

I learned along time ago, when someone says "trust me", I immediately do the opposite.

:takes bong hit:

how does one respond to that circular logic lol

...anyways, the one aspect of Yahoo! that is very profitable is their search/ppc revenue and this is not going anywhere anytime soon...parked is already in a long term contract for the feed and imo an alliance with any bigger companies such as MS would only make things better for us all...there are big things ahead for everyone who sticks out any small bumps in the road on their way over the mountain to the POT of gold ;)

Focus....just wondering man....are u the un-official cheerleader for Parked.com??...will we see u at the Parked.com booth in the Parked.com team's cheerleader outfit?.....or am i too smoking too much of the hashish mon???...:)

I am the OFFICIAL cheerleader for parked.com, did'nt you know? duh :cheer2:

You would be too.... :ok:
