Does anyone own the trademark Bluetooth?

It is a standard, and so is WiBree.

That TM signs looks weird, it doesnt appear in the official press release neither in the logo itself:

BTW the "Bluetooth SIG, Inc., Overland Park, Kan., US" also trademarked "buetooth" here in Germany as well.

I just listed UWB.net and Ultrawideband.net along with many more UWB domains for sale on ebay. Just go to http://UWB.net and you'll get there or go to my http://UWBDomainsForSale.com

I know they are touting it as an "open standard", but it still sounds propriatary to me. We'll see if it is adopted, but I'm sure nokia has the patents, and thus licensing power which could slow acceptance as an "open standard"

It looks like Nokia is serious about the development of Wibree, but I would be afraid of them defending their mark.
