When you actually own some decent domains, bottomed out public auction prices aren't typically the preferred scenery.

The owner of these two domain names tried to sell them to me at the Traffic NY show last year for $200k each .. - how times have changed...I remember when I asked how much she was looking to sell them for, and she told me the figure.. I immediately started laughing.. and my colleagues also, I said to her I wished her well.. think she was a bit put out by the response.. and I agree with above, wife was always going to be worth much more than husband.. I remember thinking that perhaps would make sense for someone to pursue her, because seemed silly to be selling off the two for the same price..

Why would you laugh at her for putting that price out there? These sold for very low prices. I think they should have pursued development or end users instead of selling so cheaply..

The seller took the risk of accepting low reserves (set by the auction house I'm sure) and she lost.

These are not the only domains that have been sold for cheap, Suntanning.com sold for only 22.5K at Mardi Gras, If you know anything about Tanning beds and Tanning products, this was a steal!

I know estibot isnt exactly the most reliable, but the stats alone would make this far more worth anything more than what it went for. As a poster stated earlier, this isnt the time for selling, this is the time for developing and holding..
