Wikipedia: Domain Names

Wikipedia has added alot more content on "Domain Names."

One fact I found rather interesting:

"In 1999, Microsoft traded the valuable name Bob.com with internet entrepreneur Bob Kerstein for the name Windows2000.com which was the name of their new operating system."

I think this may be a tie regarding WHO WON.

Microsoft for the branding and use of the domain for x number of years (considering the billions they made)

And Bob for BOB.COM...longevity, timeless, won't expire, no updates needed.

Cool story, Rock!

No problem. I like the entry on "Domainers." This article had to be written by a domainer.
