Working on Sundays...

I am thinking of forcing a ZERO Work on Sundays policy on me. Anyone else here who follows that policy?

The only thing I am planning to do is to chill and play golf... Working 12-14 Hours, 7 Days a week is not something you can keep going forever.

Anyone else feeling the burnout?

I'm right there with you Lord Brar. I cycle between build and harvest phases. Months where I'm building can usually mean 7 day work weeks. It's ok while I'm young I guess.

I guess that is what has kept me working like this till now.

Oh and btw a friend -- who owns one of the largest specialty printing businesses in Sweden -- has been begging and pleading me to try zero work on sundays policy for few months atleast. His productivity has shot up since he started doing it.

Might be worth a try. And, a game of golf without consistently replying to emails on my treo and the phone ringing is a temptation 'nuff.

Tomorrow is Sunday and the first day of this "experiment". Heh.

Yes, taking a day or two regular break every week is very beneficial. Sundays is usually my rest day too.

I try not to work everyday...life is not about constant work, at least that's my belief.

you really should not work everyday. I do not keep a strict no work on sunday policy but something similar depending on my girlfriend.
