World Cup Score

I meant to use it as a real-time World Cup scorebard kind of a website, or World Cup related in general. I find it very valuable, I bet it will even have many type-ins at the time of the event, as well as high rankings in search engines, as major keywords are used in domain. What do you think? I might develop it myself, but I wonder what would be the value if I decide to rather sell it?

during the world cup, Fifa had its banner on the yahoo home page, and like me, i am sure many people went to that site coz it was up to date, excellent info and stats etc.

Good thing is that there are plenty of sports with a world cup, so you have plenty of scope.

As to value, thats a tough one.

Yes, most people are aware of the official websites, but still: there are more than 3 billion people watching Fifa World Cup all over the world. Not mentioning all the other sports that also have their own world cups. So I believe there is a large mass of people out there who have interest in those events.
Besides, It would make nice alternative to the official censored bullshit :)

Just wondering: You think It has a reseller value? Should I sell it or would I be better off by developping and earn some money from ie. team dress commisions, tickets commisions, etc.. ?

i would sell it. I don't think it could convert well to sales, as people visiting the site arelooking for scores. A site like that will take up alot of time to maintain, for what could be small returns.
