world-weather.com

- Great generic name for a weather portal

- Lots of possibilities

- Aged (11yrs+)

Looking for opinions

Thanks,
Steve

Well, for a start, the name features the term 'world' (irreplaceable;
where would we be without it?!) followed by the term 'weather'
(a multi-billion dollar global industry).

With this in mind, I say the value on this name has to be at least
a million.

Good luck,

Since the largest hyphenated sale ever was low 6 figures I think, a million is a bit pie in the sky. I would guess mid 4 figures on this one, mainly because weather is not as attractive as the more marketable names such as hotels, insurance, etc. Most 5 figures with some luck, but weather names are not really all that attractive. All kinds of competition, even from Google, and poor monetization.

I can't believe it!

europe-weather.com is still available to register... Obviously,
world-weather.com is worth a fortune, but europe-weather
must be worth $100K (and you can pick it up today for reg
fee!!!).

Bwian your over the top appraisals are not really needed.

$1m....ah yeah sure. You've over shot the mark by about 250k.....received an offer of $750k.

Your being a bit generous with your numbers I think.

PS: thinking about taking the $750k :)

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

hostmasta, that was unnecessary. You had the high road. Zimbabwe $dollars don't count.

bwian started it......I have thick skin, I'll play :)
