This is weird, to say the least.
My pic I use as an avatar, which is a picture of me in the tube at Gravels, a section of Salt Creek Beach in South Laguna, also shows the bluffs where the Ritz Carleton was built.
The picture I show of me surfing was taken around 1985 or so, and around that time, the Ritz Carleton was built on the bluff in the background. About 17 years later, Frank Schilling met with some investors to discuss buying his portfolio. Although the deal didn't go through, it's weird to know that this pick shows exactly where they were, BEFORE they were there. Or it shows how old i am... lol
This info was revealed in "The Domain Game" book by Dave Kesmodel, a book I recommend every domainer to buy if they want to know the foundation of the domain industry, and who is who... to a certain extent. Best book on the industry ever written.
