I might just do this!

For those who want to save a ton of cash and be within walking distance of the conference and many of the nightclubs, I suggest the Motel6 nearby (4 blocks away) at $69/night+tax + $10/day for parking. (that's CAR parking, geeks!)

This really is a news announcement. I am not connected with DomainSponsor, so this is in no way advertising. I was just excited to hear about this and nobody else had posted it.

Someone moved the thread here:

http://www.dnforum.com/f60/woz-keynote-domainfest-global-thread-329761.html

are you connected with the website that you linked the news to?

links to domain news, should come from the source who announced the event.

second and third party sources are not news, when the main source is available, especially if that second/third party source is your website.

by not posting a link directly to that companies page who announced the event, and posting a link to your site as the source, then it becomes advertising.

the point is, that every person who wants to report on domain news can certainly build a site and "go for it".

however you cannot use this section as the promotional area for it, in an effort to build visitors and generate your following.

the other point is, DomainSponsor already has it's own section here on the forum, so any news related to them should really be posted there.

That's why it was moved to Advertising and Related Offers....rather than being closed.

we tried to give you an opening, yet you took it negatively when imo, you were wrong in the first place.

now you wanna make a stink because we "moved" your thread...
