The site is www.dopehosts.com.
The site currently makes $1400/month from banner and text ads. All payments are fixed, monthly, and via paypal. Income fluctuates often. Just 6 months ago we were at $1900/month, and 2 months ago at $1100/month. But the site has a solid PR7 so advertisers seem to like us. The site also makes some insignificant dollars from adsense (darn those non-hosting ads).
The site currently does not spend advertising dollars, and has not for the past year (as in 2005).
This is an authentic web host review site. It doesn't offer visitors a bunch of fake information they don't need, simply real webhost reviews. All reviews are submitted by real customers and hand approved. It has a built-in feature to mark fake reviews and exposes unethical companies. The site is SEOed so that when people google "blahhost.com reviews" we come up top 5 for many hosts. This site is more valuable as time goes by, for it collects more authentic reviews visitors and search engines love.
All new links and reviews are handled by an admin backend. It is very easy to maintain and update.
The site can make a lot more money if its resources are channelled. Many people come to this site to vent about their host, and I would think these people are probably also looking for new hosts. If done right, there's lots of affiliate dollars to be made.
I've builted this site up from the ground up and love it. I believe it is the best webhost reviews site out there. The asking price is $30,000 or highest bid.
