x,xxx,xxx,xxx results in Google...

I see it all the time, what's the point of googling (or yahooing) keyword domain and getting hundreds of millions of results. Of course the keywords in the domain must be surrounded by ", i.e. "keyword domain". The differences are huge of course. It's just wrong.

when one does a search to find the number of results, why would one use "" (quotes) instead of no quotes?

ex:

i love you = google results = 487,000,000
"i love you" - google results = 127,000,000

Ah yeah, I will try to make it more clear. Some people claim the domain gets hundreds of millions in results when googling the keywords in the domain, and not using quotes. By not using quotes, the keywords can be anywhere in the page to count as a result. But in the domain name, the keywords are static in the same place, i.e. Keyword1Keyword2.com, not Keyword2Keyword1.com or Keyword1-somethingElseHere-Keyword2.com. Thus not using quotes when claiming number of results is of course wrong.

I always state number of results *with* quotes. Any other method is pointless.
