Well established game website. It had some minor downtime at the end of last month and was just recently sold to me. I'm afraid that I have taken on something that I am just not cutout for and I am willing to sell it ASAP in order to pass the deal on and keep the site running smooth.

It got over 8k uniques last month and has a good 2-3k this month already I believe. The site does have staff and I've contacted some of them but others I'm still waiting to hear from. (Screenshots available on request.)

I bought the site with plans to add it into another website but it's just not working out. The site is a PR 5.

The forum url isn't working... it goes nowhere... the forum link on the site points to some other site's gaming forum... and there are only a couple of posts there.

Thanks for the information, like has been corrected - missed the s for forums.

As I said, I originally planned to implement the site with another of mine but it simply just isn't going to work out like I want it to so that other site is the one I was speaking about.

Yep, that's why I am selling...the hits are most certainly there it's just that the site has been established at what it is and so trying to combine it with the other website is simply not going to work - unfortunately for me.

If I were you, I think I'd import the forum content into your other forum, and then go with your original plan... that would give you another 2000+ posts in your teen forum, and probably be enough to get the party started!

I thought about that but I don't have enough knowledge of MySQL and IPB to be able to bring everything over to the forums. I wouldn't know where to start there.

There are probably hacks out there that will do this turnkey, but I'm not positive. I've bought and merged forums before between vBulletin and phpBB... If you go to the site that hosts your forum script, and hit their user forum, you'll probably find import or merge scripts.

Thanks for the tip, I've actually done that type of research before but could not come across anything. I might take a shot at it again and see just what I can come up with.
