Roughly 200 +/- type ins per day, 1000s of unique visitors stopping by, tons of great videos on the site and it grows EVERY DAY.
Why? Because ESPN just announced that they are adding Rally Racing to their lineup starting with X-Games 12 in August of this year. This site is getting bigger every day and will only continue to grow as the X-Games get closer. International media coverage and exposure is going through the roof. Already, I am being contacted by magazines and fans looking for more information.
This is a case of NOT having a "-" in the name is working in MY favor rather than adding a "-" to an exisiting site to get traffic. XGamesRally.com is getting MORE HITS on Google than teh actual X-Games site!!!
I've spoken with ESPN directly about this and their position is that as long as I don't SAY that I am "official" and I don't use the "-" in the name, I'm fine with the domain. Fine by me... NOT having the dash is giving me more traffic!
They are okay with all of this until they find out we are getting the traffic we are THEN they will buy this domain. Oh, and I have 4 variants of it all with .com
Here's your chance to do what I can't... develope and REALLY make some money. The site is not currently monitized so I don't have ANY revenue numbers to share with you... but if traffic is any indication, this is going to be huge.
Remember, X-Games is an international program with Millions of Viewers world ride. Rally is NEW to the X-Games and as soon as the show airs in August, just a short month away... This site will go through the ROOF!!!
