Because the adult community is STRONGLY against the .XXX proposal. I for oe am glad .xxx got shot down, as are hundreds and thousands of adult webmasters. .XXX was set to cause a whole lot of problems for a whole lot of people...

.xxx was not supported by the mainstream or adult webmasters. It was shot down and they have said they will not take another look at it for a long time to come. There is only a small group of people that want .xxx to actually become a reality.
