I don't know about actual values, but in general I think the advice is to always choose the dotcom over the .eu. At the same time, it does seem as if .eu domains are gaining a little in the market and if you mean would there be more value in a dictionary word .eu domain than in a domain with eudictionaryword.com, then I would definitely prefer the .eu myself, if I had to choose. But ideally you should probably just look for another dotcom without the eu prefix.

I must admit to being confused. Am I missing something? Surely the OP isn't saying he actually has the names XXXXX.eu or euXXXXX.com? I thought that the X's stood for something that wasn't being revealed. Is the question not asking which of this style of name is better, rather than which actual domain name?
