Another funny thing is some of these names have always been available, and now with the renewed interest in .us they are finally being regged.

That's human nature - we always want what we can't have. The same person who will not spend $5 to reg one today will gladly pay $60 tomorrow simply because they are no longer available. Some people are a half step ahead and realize they are going to be gone so they are getting them now. We've already seen the price jump 1000% on .biz and .info threes after they sold out, so there's no reason to think it won't happen here as well.

In my case, I didn't know I was allowed to.

My registrar informed me that because I do business in the US, I can.

So, I took around 15 of them.

I supply clearly drives this reseller market.

Duke was fortunate to get a nice chunk of ALL new extensions in the 3 letter category.

He has over 500 in info, biz and us.

I think he knows what he's doing! :-D

Duke has been suggesting to me for 9 months to buy more 3 letter .us.

But, I put more effort into the .info tld.

Nametower, by your report, Duke has over 650 3 ltr .us alone.
And, most of them are prime letters!!!

Plus, he has many of the prime 3 ltr .info and .biz.

I hate it when someone uses their intelligence and drive to get ahead. :-D

Over 1,500 all together in those 3 extensions and I sell them in all three TLD's to small business end users every week. I never wholesale 3-letter domains any more because there is no need to (the last time I ran a 3-letter wholesale list was back in January and Elequa bought the entire list of more than 80 names - he knows a lot that I don't know so I took a lesson from that :-) ).

Looking forward to it.
According to my research, over 700 3 letter .us were taken so far today.

So they have gone ??.......That was crazy. At midnight (GMT) I decided to buy the remainder, but every batch I loaded into godaddy the majority was coming back as sold. I managed to get a few, but I defenitely didn`t get anywhere near the complete buyout. Someone else must have had the exact same idea at the exact same time........Any ideas who ?

There they all go.

Still a few hundred left but they are being registered fast.

GoDaddy doesn't always show .us availability correct..alot of anes that are shown as taken by GoDaddy are available elsewhere and succesfully regged.

From the list I`m working off using godaddy I can`t get jack shit....pm me the list of remaining if you can.

Less than 1000 names remaining :cheesy:

WOW! The whole list sold in the last 100 minutes!

Thanks guys for the nearly 100 I bought in the last 24 hours. I had been making lists and acquiring very few good ones that I found. The post here motivated me. I'll throw one back to salute you guys later!
