Yahtool has a bug in it and thinks that names ending
with com.uk or something similar are listed in yahoo when
they're really not.

Super simple bug to fix, (3 lines of code max) but the
author doesn't seem to care and sells it with the bug
in it.

It also loads very slowly, especially with large lists
and tends to freeze up a lot.

No offense YahTool, I know you're a member here but your
software needs some serious work man. I've never
seen such sloppy and careless coding.

The bug isn't that big - and doesn't take much effort to get around it either (as in the results error you get is small anyways so no probs)

Omni,

Why would you have to get around a problem if it could very
easily be repaired by the author, with less then five
minutes of work.

YahTool only does ONE THING, checks Yahoo listings
and it can’t even do that right.

Why inconvenience the client with sloppy programming?

Sure there is bugs in software, EVERY software but if
its reported over and over again it should be at least
looked at.

Perhaps in this case you get what you pay for.

Nice service but kinda pricy in the long run. $15 for checking 150,000 names? I guess its a great idea if you just wanna run through a really good list but using it on a daily basis is gonna add up.

Very well done site nonetheless.

It's really expensive in long run I agree. Especially, there is a lot of domain expired on everydomain.

Thanks for your reminder.

But the other provider seem to incurred a lot even if I just want to check for a few name.

Any good suggestion!

Many thanks
