This happens every now and again. I think maybe it's a result
of their whois being screwed up occasionally. It was showing
messed up No Matches after a certain query limit...
I suspect they're adding query limits, but that's just my speculation.
whois -h whois.crsnic.net yahoo.com
Just watch the last update line. It updates twice, 4-5pm mnt, 4-5am mnt. Of course it shows a different timestamp, but that's
when the new updates usually are posted and it's slow going
for the first little while.

I hope they update soon, I wanna get going

I have noticed the same thing. In some cases, it still showed the old registrar, but the new registrant. Something is strange.
