Really? I don't even know who domainking is <-n00b.

Did it drop yesterday or did the names expire?

Yesterday was a field day for OVT! I bid on so many of them it wasn't even funny. The next few days are going to be Auction Crazy.

It dropped yesterday, I have bid on about 700 names, and I am in about 100 auctions, never saw that before. I am curious like a hell, what the heck is up ? Why would he drop so many great domains ? Maybe as he is Da King, those domains was not good enough for him...

Zuccarini's biggest fault afaik was, he has driven the traffic of kid-sites typos to porn sites.

DK still could transfer the domains to some tax-heaven LLC and sell them. I can understand that he is now maybe in position, he wants get totally clean business, maybe even make some IPO (or someone is going "buy him" like Ultsearch). But still is big money he doropped yesterday...

Maybe he will explain it in DNjournal one day...

Excellent points indeed Denny... for certain, some kind of "cleansing" transpired!

I think those were NameKing's, not Domain King's. Two different pretenders to UltSearch's throne.

The nameking/domainking confused me. I thought Laporte Holdings is Ricks company... Anyway the quesiton remains - why they dropped so many good domains yesterday...

One thing I am thinking of is, they are US corporation, so they can be sued. And maybe also they will go public, or someone is buying them. But still they could sell it, or make a deal with some drop catcher for nice share of the auctions (i.e. graigslist.com is 2 days before end of the auction at $4200, value of this domain would be maybe $20-$30K, but no-one will pay so much, because the domain can be lost "tomorrow" in a wipo...).

This could be true.
But they most have some nice cash, so why don`t make a offshore company?? and they would be ok.
