The whole fun about the process is trying to get the most dollars without blowing the sale. That is what it is all about.
Yeah, I guess it is fun but, seriously, I&
#039;m just finding it nerve-wracking!
I didn&
#039;t want to frighten them away and, among the domains I have, I didn&
#039;t rate ismellgreat.com all that highly. My friend said I should start at EUR 5000, see how they react, let them bargain me down a bit but, I don&
#039;t know - personally, if it was me enquiring, I would react to that by saying "You&
#039;re crazy, goodbye!".
So, I quoted EUR 1500. I had decided that, at that price, I wouldn&
#039;t accept any lower offers, I would stick firm to 1500, but, as it happens, they agreed to it right away, also enquiring about yousmellgreat.com, which I had mentioned in my first response to them. I said it was 2500, because it was a better name, but I would do both for 3500, knocking off 500 - that was, I now realize, a mistake but, what the Hell, I&
#039;m learning
So, EUR 3500 in total for both, that&
#039;s about $4700. Judging from what you and biggedon have suggested, I think that is an okay, but not great, result.

it sounds like a domain that would be regged specifically for a perfume/fragrance campaign
Yeah, it was a marketing/design company that bought it on behalf of a client, almost certainly perfume or cosmetics - I hope they get good use out of the domains anyway.
Much appreciated brother!
