I've had low conversion rates on very targeted sites. One potential advertiser told me that there still are a lot of parasite sites out there using Zango (ebits??), etc. Basically I was told that your click through looks good all the way to the checkout cart & then this software can redirect your click through. Anyone experiencing this? I have seen sites listed as parasite free but how do you really know if the advertiser/affiliate program really is?

There is a lot buzz about this. I believe this might be the source of the lower traffic quality scores because of rouge services like that operating. At the Ebay developers conference there was a lot discussion about services that rewrite tracking cookies and hijack browser sessions to rob commissions.
