Yes that maybe true ;)

And snapnames wrote me an email saying that two letter domains weren't to be rereleased back into the pool. I had 10 2 letters snapped, before they wrote me this reply.

I've got a snap on a 2 letter .com - I'm praying to the domain gods that that one comes through!

And Domainut, as far as I'm aware the 2 letter restrictions are limited to .org domains.

Unless something has changed (which I doubt) - that is correct. It only applies to .ORG

I think what they are saying is that it is no longer possible to place a snap on a 2 char .com or .net. Not that they are no longer available to register. So if you have a snap on any 2char .com/.net., Hang on to it.

Well....It looks like llew snapped ZG.COM...Congrats!

Too Late, SN replied to my email inquiring about .com and .net two letter/two character domains being dropped back into the available pool to be reregistered. I already knew of the .org and didn't inquire about that.

And upon finding this out from SN, I approached the owners of 9k.com and 7z.com (two of the .com's I had snaps on) and inquired about price, since they were both expired. I figured why let them be dropped altogether if they cam back with a reasonable price. Neither did, and reregged them. I never mentioned the fact that they wouldn't be available again, fore I thought they would see the extra value being added to them. But Snap Names sure screwed me on all 10 Snaps and the 3 months that I sat on them.
