Well, it's typable with the keyboards I've tried, at least.
Certainly keyboards within the UK.

It is SHIFT + the ` key.
(On my keyboard it's just below Esc and on the left side of 1).

I bought this more as a novelty, but I just wonder if it has any value.

Thanks

Lol, not exactly.. I have the .com version and it brings daily type in and can be accessed by most people in Europe who have an idn-enabled browser.

If you are in the US, then yes it is just a novelty... ;-)

Oh, wow, you're the .COM owner?
Is it for sale? Having the pair would be lovely :D

Although the .com isn't for sale it is good to see this thread :-)

My advice about symbol-based valuations at the moment is to take them all with a pinch of salt. This domain will 'have it's day', I am sure of that, and I think that valuations for these names will, in the next few years (when the idn market has matured) take people's breath away..

Hold on to it 'til then - don't let ANYONE tell you that a keyboard-typeable single character domain name like this (whatever the extension) is a novelty.

The question remains: who is going to type that (provided the keyboard allows). If that were an IDN at least it would make sense to native speakers. But as a symbol it means little. What can it be used for ?

OK, typable, but the last time I saw that symbol as a key in a keyboard was in 1989... or it was 1993?. Of course, I know that many keyboards still have it, but the vast majority does not.

Many countries in Europe have the ¬ symbol on their keyboards, and so it makes this a perfect geo-targeting domain name. Sure, it's not on your keyboard but not all domains have to be 'universal' do they?

sdsinc: ¬.net is an idn, and as for the fact that it means very little to the average user, maybe that's a benefit?.. in that the symbol can be made to mean anything you want..
