Hi

why would chinese people be looking for it, in chinese idn charcters , instead of in english?
and since english speaking wouldn't search for it in chinese character,
then what value does it have, for either?

imo...

Hello,

Well, they (Chinese) would not think to look for it. And that is why it was (probably) available. That is kind of the point. These gaps in thinking between cultures might hold opportunities for finding nice domains. Now, for the english speakers (USA) this is a URL that we should hold for safe keeping lest it be populated with anti-USMC atrocious propaganda.

Plus there was something last summer about italics in URL's that opened up different languages to register. Like Hàn.com. Which I registered, too. What do you think of pinyin? Afternic paid appraisal says $1500 on their rating scale. Not a bad return for $20. If I can sell it. What do you think of that?

Thank You for replying.

Hi
they are not italics, they are called "IDN" domain names. google it

if, you paid for appraisal, then add that amount, plus amount for the domain, as your total loss.

as for the atrocious propaganda, such may be prevented by the registrar and or illegal, so it wouldn't be a real concern

imo....

Hi,

I registered the punycode - xn--hn-jia.com. Which translates to pinyin Hàn.com. Is it still your opinion that this is a total loss? Thanks for your answer.
