1.cc - Less than $1,000 would be terrible. Do not listen to people who will try to get it from you for $300 to $500. In truth, it is not unrealistic to expect well over $10,000, but it would not be so bad if you let it go for $x,xxx to $xx,xxx. In the end, it's of course a matter of finding motivated buyers willing to pay what it's really worth. In truth, it is easily worth $xxx, xxx+. Here is just one example of a major credit card company with a huge national TV advertising budget: http://www.capitalone.com/indexa.php and very entertaining ads. If a company like that desired, they could easily pay you at least $xx,xxx to $xxx, xxx for a name like that to be an internet beacon to their card (www.1."CreditCard"). Even $x,xxx, xxx would be nothing to a company like that, but I'm not suggesting that's likely to happen soon. You have been very fortunate here - excellent name, and congratulations to you. :)

1.cc is like finding a fortune, but 5.cc, while good, is a distant second. "1" is what people the world over would prize the most and can relate to - it's comparative significance is like the difference between a gold medal at the Olympics and failing to qualify. Nonetheless, there could very well be parties with more than enough of a reason to pay a handsome price for 5. It would be best if you also had one.cc to go with 1, but 1.cc unquestionably stands on its own. That it would not work perfectly for radio doesn't matter much at all, since internet, TV, and even print media are where most people will be for the purpose of such a thing.

Yes, 1 would first have to learn to crawl before it could walk, but once the walking was underway, it could soon become a giant. With a big buyer, such as one of the credit card companies, one ad campaign should be all that is needed to start the wave.

[1.xxx] is rare that I believed it.

For example:
1.com not open
1.net not open
1.org not open

It is only open for ccTLD, not at gTLD.
How much it worth, no one know it?
Because no sample can be referenced.

By the way, deeply congrate to Jandy.

hehe, $100,000+....

seriously, that's rediculous, this name is worth $500 tops, what company in their right mind would pay 6 figures for a domain with a country TLD from a tiny, remote island...

this isnt the year 1999, please give your head a shake....

its a nice .cc domain, but no .cc will ever be worth more than $1000

GT_Web,

I believe the [1.cc] is the best premium character and word at .cc
It will be over 1k, as my opinions.

As you said:
"other than in extreme cases with very premium phrases, .cc is a worthless CCTLD"

Don't be fooled, vincentliao. You and Jandy are very new here, and plenty of people would want you to believe it's not very valuable and lower your expectations. Where you come from, do you know the term "lowballing"? In this case, it's worse than a lowball. "$500 tops" is not even worthy of being called "absurd." Anyone who gets it from Jandy a week from now for $1,000 will feel as if they got a very big bargain indeed. This 1 is one of a kind.

It's number "1" irrespective of extension that alone would put it over $5k JMO

Incidentally- CoffeeCup.cc just sold for $500 at Sedo!

I can´t agree with your 1XX.XXX Number, www, as well. But I would rate it at a good X.XXX - with some luck at a very low XX.XXX - endcustomer price.

best regards, psystem

I always believe single letter or single char domain has its own value just because they are the shortest domains in the world:)
Regardless big companies like it or not, these shortest domains are always hot for url-redirection and email services.
he he...

a.first as I said, no gTLD open like 1.xxx
eg:
1.com
1.net
1.org
1.info
1.biz
1.name
they are all reserved.

b.second, the enic.cc is the best ccTLD on the world.
enic.cc and networksolutions.com are the same company call verisign.

conclusion!
Dear GT_Web I think you are new domainer.

1.cc - the queue of buyers could be long at the right price and I see no problem with a pricetag of 1k - 10k is possible for someone who really wants to be "no 1", 100k is a dream.
