The new domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com and it was another week to remember. We saw one of the ten highest reported sales of the year, weighing in at $150,000! The buyer, Chris Chena, also accounted for this week's #2 domain, adding to his collection of top tier Spanish language domains. The continuing flow of money into the market trickled down to the New TLD's too - especially .info which had a huge week, sweeping all 8 spots on our new extension chart (6 of then were four figure deals and the other two missed by $25 or less)!. Read all about it through the link below:

And to think that's only the tip of the iceberg ... many sales, including many big amount ones, are never reported.

Amazing how much the domain business has grown, and it's got a great future ... 7-figure sales are likely to become a more frequent occurance in the next couple of years.

Ron, you are correct on both points.

However, before Duke started publishing the weekly sales report. We would only
hear about many of the sales by rumors or guesses.

And, the report is not to be a complete reporting of weekly sales. But, an indicator
of market directions and trends.

As for the second point.
The U.S. and global economy will have some effect on the selling prices for
the next couple years. (This could be a thread, all to itself.)

63% of all domains are registered in the U.S.

(Nameslave, thank you again for pointing out this site to me. It shows some
nice trends if you read between the lines.)
