Hi,

According to a myspace C&D Letter uglypeople.com was selling domains here after he received C&D Letter(s) from myspace. Now, I do not know about other members here, but I think that is about as dishonest as it gets and I do not think he should be allowed to sell domains on this forum again.

We hereby demand that you remove the site www.xxxxxxxx.com from the Internet, and relinquish and transfer the domain to MySpace. We demanded this domain be relinquished to MySpace from its previous owner, however, immediately after receiving our cease and desist letter, ownership of the domain was somehow transferred over to you. We therefore demand that you do not transfer this domain to anyone except MySpace.

I had asked him if he had received any C&D letters on this domain and he stated he was "only" selling because he needed the money. I am big boy and if I have to eat a couple thousand dollars I will have to eat it. But I don't think we need dishonest members here. I am sure I am not the only one he sold domains like this to. Any suggestions on what recourse I have?

Never buy domains from someone that has a "fake flaming yellow sports car" for sale on the same domain board.

I suggest he be banned...I know others will rush to defend him and say that "The buyer should know what they are getting.", but that is just BS. This entire sale was a scam and the seller is a theif.
