I am talking with a guy now about purchasing a domain name. The name is 8 years old he never has used it for PPC or anything like that. Its "automotive" related. It has an overture of 160+ with the extension .com it has 280 without the .com and all the words typed together. Then with the spaces between the words its 24k overture.

Its a certain type of truck then forsale.com

anyway i am negotiating with him on the price.

In your opinion.....automotive related and this high an overture with the extension whats it worth?

The appraisal board's rules ( http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?t=43732 ) say you have to own the name to ask for an appraisal. I think it's because the person giving the appraisals could be the person selling you the name.
