Hi all,

I've got 2 question regarding Page Rank. Would appreciate if anyone could help me with them.

1. Is it possible for a PR5 domain to not have any links on any search engine (including Google) ?

2. What is the "market price" for PR5 domains ?

TIA
Idan

1) no.

2)Depends on the no. of backlinks. Anywhere from 100$ upwards for a solid PR5 domain.

Thanks for your reply.

But, I have a PR5 domain with no back links at all. I guess it's just a mistake of Google or something like that.

You can achieve a PR score by forwarding a domain to another with the same PR. Even if you remove the forwarding, the PR will remain until the next time Google decides to update it for the domain (not necessarily the next google update)

These days PR has really very little value. I notice a lot of talk about PR in these forums, but really, it's been at least two years since it had more than a passing relevance to rankings.

Do a search for 'localrank' in Google. If attempting to understand how Google ranks pages, that would be the best starting point these days in my opinion.

google drops those kind of domains page rank randomly.. sometimes during the whole "update" process and sometimes just out of no where!
