3-Letter .AI Domains — Are They Still Undervalued in 2026?

I've been watching the .AI domain market closely over the past year and I'm genuinely curious what experienced investors here think about 3-letter .AI domains in 2026.

Here's my take: The .AI extension has fundamentally shifted from a novelty ccTLD to one of the most sought-after digital assets in the tech world. Every major AI company — from startups to unicorns — wants a short, clean .AI address. The supply is fixed (only 17,576 possible 3-letter combinations), and demand is only going to increase as more AI products launch.

I recently picked up wzl.ai and listed it for $65,000. Some might say that's aggressive pricing, but when you look at recent comparable sales — short .AI domains selling for $50K-$150K+ — I think it's actually on the conservative end for a clean 3-char .AI.

A few questions for the community:

1. Do you think 3-letter .AI domains are undervalued, fairly valued, or overpriced right now?
2. What's your strategy for holding vs. selling short .AI domains?
3. Has anyone here successfully closed a $50K+ .AI sale recently? What platforms converted best for you?

For what it's worth, I'm using Afternic, Sedo, and Atom.com for distribution. Curious if others have had better luck elsewhere.

Would love to hear from investors who have actually transacted in this space.
